Why not join the Taxi discussion list?

There are two UK taxi discussion forums on the London-Taxi web site:

The Taxicab discussion list taxi@yahoogroups.com for all UK taxicab related discussions

The knowledge discussion list theknowledge@yahoogroups.co.uk for all knowledge of London related discussions

These lists are provided free of charge for discussion's pertinent to the Hackney Carriage Trade, to take part in either of these you must fit the following criteria:

Mandatory Requirement:
Knowledge Boy/Girl
Licensed Hackney Carriage Driver
Licensed Hackney Carriage Driver and a licensed Private Hire Driver
Owner/Proprietor of Licensed Hackney Carriage Drivers AND licensed Private Hire drivers
Taxi Manufacturer 
Taxi Trade supplier of goods/services
MOST Important:

You MUST not be associated with the unlicensed minicab in any way or form! (Although if you're currently scabbing whilst studying the knowledge, I may make exceptions.)

This list is provided by the London-Taxi web site to combine our thoughts to produce open, impartial discussion relating to the UK taxi trade. It is not here as a means for spamming, only subscribe to this list if you positively feel that you wish to contribute in enhancing our trade.

To subscribe to the Taxi discussion list, send an email to: taxi-subscribe@yahoogroups.com and leave the Subject line empty. The actual email content must be blank:

You will receive a reply from the moderator requesting further proof of your relation to the UK Licensed taxi trade.

The list is not a means of cheap advertising to subscribers, anyone found blatantly advertising their goods/services etc will be restricted from contributing.

Please treat the list subscribers as you would expect to be treated yourself. Refrain from swearing and defamatory remarks etc. London-Taxi.co.uk will not be held responsible for any content in the discussion list, taxi@yahoogroups.com discussion list only provides the means for free and impartial discussion.

Many of the subscribers will not be from London alone, please introduce yourselves on your first email and ensure that you always include a signature file at the end of every message sent to taxi@yahoogroups.com
